sequence-space-synesthesia

describes a type of synesthesia where your brain is “solving” the problem of an abstract concept with a mental representation. abstract concepts are for example time (the day, month, year, a life time), calculations and number lines.
try to remember how you visualize the year or how you solve a mathematical problem. maybe you see a time beam, an oval, a moving circle or something as simple as the calendar on your phone? if you see some shape or beam you most likely have a type of sequence-space-synesthesia yourself!

here you see some examples of sequence-space-synesthesia. either mine or the ones of friends.
